So thrilled to see you back writing reports and yes, to Snow Dance. I cannot believe I have not even skied out to Couch HQ and thru to Hydroline or Patterson Meadows as yet. Aggravated one hip and no skiing for about 10 days, but still enjoying the reports!!! Loved the Boom Lake report; expressing my sentiments exactly!

PLPP:
Meadow / Wheeler / Amos / Wheeler / William Watson Lodge / Braille / Lodgepole
-14C at 10:00 / -4C at 16:00 / waxable skis with VR40 to start then VR45 in afternoon
From the Discovery Centre we followed the nicely groomed and trackset middle trails of PLPP.
Skied Meadow to Elkwood, then Wheeler to the south junction with Amos. Much of Wheeler didn’t have tracks set due to shallow snow cover. Followed Amos north to Wheeler and Elkwood. These trails were all icy and abrasive with considerable tree debris (pine needles and spruce cones)
Then crossed Kananaskis Lakes Road to Lodgepole and William Watson Lodge and, after lunch, skied Braille and Lodgepole under the power lines to the Discovery Centre. These trails were free of tree debris and, with the warming day and bright sun softening the corduroy and tracks, they gave the fastest and best ski experience of the day.
