Nice trail along the Otterhead and the Kicking Horse River, Chuck. The hoarfrost presented some amazing patterns on the ice. And the afternoon "popcorn" clouds were cool.

It warmed up quickly on this sunny trail, and our Blue wax was the perfect choice.
Not many skiers seem to know about this trail, but that is a good thing on a long weekend!
We went 1.5 kms beyond the end of tracksetting, and returned along the river from the viewpoint, enjoying the very supportive snowpack.
 Bruce Bembridge (on wooden skis) is more interested in the Wolf tracks than the hiker tracks down to the first bridge
Note - Skis are available for rent at Emerald Lake
 Skiers only allowed beyond that Fire Circle at the first bridge
 After that junction, the set tracks are pristine
 Heading downstream beyond the end of tracksetting
 Heading back upstream towards the bridge
 What a day!
