Those are warming huts - there are two of them here - no heat source but they do block the wind and have wooden benches. There is a cafe hut by the playground where you can get coffee and treats... so these make a good place to enjoy them while your waiting your turn on the curling or crokinole rinks.
Yeah... it's fairly decadent in North Glenmore Park.

Discussion:

A short ski around North Glenmore park this morning before it got too warm in the sunshine. Temperatures ranged from -10C to approaching zero - SWIX Blue (V30) worked well. A little bit of well skied new snow over old track-set... not ideal but certainly skiable. Many skiers sharing the trails today. Skied over to check out the ice skating trail... looking good following last week's melt. It got pretty warm this afternoon but temperatures were already falling by sunset and the snow should recrystallize overnight - Sunday should be good with new snow in the forecast.
