I was listening to the song on the drive out and thought it was the perfect title for this post.
The best time to ski at Mt Shark is on a sunny, blue sky day with calm air, cold snow, and new tracksetting. Like today.
If you're after spectacular scenery, that's your recipe.
The air temperature at 12:30 pm was -13, and the snow was -12, so it was easy waxing. I was using skis that were hot-waxed for cold snow so I had great glide.
Adding to the fun, I encountered a friendly dog named Bajoue who was snug and happy in his coat and boots.
