Bob, I was there on Nov 10 and saw 8 other skiers in 3 groups!

All the "hidden gems" have been discovered by the masses except for Iron Creek. I've never seen another person on it, so I think you and I are the only ones who ski it.

Discussion:

Early this afternoon I skied West Crystal-Loggers-Elbow-Iron Springs-Iron Creek-East Crystal and Sundog loop. I'll just add to prior reports from today to say that Elbow and Iron Springs were generally in good shape, but had springlike conditions in sun exposed areas by mid afternoon. I ventured south on Elbow towards Fullerton, but gave up at Sugar Daddy after all the hiker trampling made for increasingly unpleasant skiing. Which brings to mind- have you commented on the new Bragg Creek Trails master plan yet? It includes some new multi-use trails that should help steer non-skier traffic away from Elbow and Iron Springs south (and Telephone!) The public engagement phase ends November 16, so don't delay. See attached links.

Elbow trail trampled by hikers, at Sugar Daddy Junction.

Tracksetting in great shape on the underused (by skiers, anyway!) Iron Creek trail.

East Crystal, looking like it has seen some recent renovating.
