Looking forward to more of your prolific reports, Chuck.
So, it seems like your "specially aged" wax was the key to good, clump free skiing. Sometimes it pays to procrastinate!

Discussion:

While I can't improve on Into Thin Eyre's detailed discussion points, I still feel a need to report!
Temperatures today ranged from minus 2 to plus 2.
I used my metal edged 68 mm skis with last years wax which worked very well.
There was about 4 to 8 inches of cold fluffy snow on top of the ice covered pavement.
Lots of hikers but they kept away from the ski track... Thanks.

But I was far from the first!
Glad to see Mike and Tracy on their return.

This morning's webcam view from the Chateau suggested it would be worth the drive.

So many tracks to contend with!

Thanks to those who broke trail before me.

By the time I was done, the happy families were coming out.
