Posted on the Alberta Parks website: "Pocaterra warming hut is now open. Peter Lougheed Park Discovery Centre is closed for seasonal maintenance until Nov 24, 2021."
Opening the hut in mid-October is much earlier than usual.
P.S. This SkierRoger website is excellent. It allowed me to edit my comment and post a photo.
This photo was taken in Nov 2020 after some of the tables were removed for social distancing

The fireplace is still there.

The wood fireplace has been replaced by a gas insert on a timer and probably a thermostat.
