Only a few cars in the parking lot at 9:30am and a cold -25C

Skied CCW the outer trails: Hostel East, Telephone, Moose, Mt View West, Mt Road, Mt View, Loggers, Elbow, Iron Springs / Creek, Sundog and back on East Crystal. I used Swix V05 / Polar in the morning and V40 Blue in the afternoon.

All the trails were in great shape (many thanks groomers), including the South end of Elbow, Iron Springs that is usually groomed by Alberta Park.

As usual the snow cover on Telephone is way better on the West and North sides, the East side is quite thin in some areas but very much skiable.

Telephone has a fair bit of footprints (no surprise) from the Hostel junction to approximately 1.5km after the Snowshoe hare junction. The rest of the loop is clear of footprints / bike ruts.

The southern portion of Elbow and Iron Springs (groomed by Alberta Parks) was also clear of footprints.

It was -9C when I returned to the parking lot.
