Ribbon area tour

Discussion:

I skied much of the network today: Ribbon to the Hotels, Kovach, Ribbon Trail, Coal Mine, Lower Skogan / Hay Meadow and Aspen / Kovach Link loop to finish up. Conditions were pretty marginal with the warm temperatures and considerable amount of tree debris. I managed to get a reasonable day out of it using waxless metal edged skis. Surprisingly, clumping was not as big an issue as I thought it would be with a morning starting temperature of 8. Travel was surprising fast. There were lots of walkers out today, some of them making a mess of the ski trails but I only saw two skier groups near the end of my tour.
