Skogan Pass a pine needle galore

Discussion:

I suspected Skogan Pass could not possibly be in top shape today, but still decided to give it a try. +6C at the trailhead at noon, and strong winds. From the get go the trail was littered with pine needles and larger tree debris. The snow was slow and grabby, but that didn't spoil the day - still better to be in the mountains than in the office.
One downed tree on the Skogan loop, another on Hummingbird Plume.
