Cascade Valley

Didn't feel like anything too adventurous, so we headed for Cascade Valley today to do a quick run to the bridge and back. Weirdo temperatures - -21 in Calgary, -18 as we were approaching Canmore, -11 in Canmore, and -7 at the Cascade Valley trailhead.

Trail was trackset just a coupla days ago, but there's lots of fresh, dry snow. Trail was still in great shape, though.
Conditions were perfect. Intermittent flurries while we were there. No problems at all staying in the tracks all the way down the big hill. Saw maybe a couple dozen people the whole time we were there, and my wife recognized a former work colleague from 1988!!! Small world.
