A balmy -16C at Ribbon Creek parking lot (it was -28C at the Highway 40 turnoff) at 10:30am and only one car in the parking lot
We skied CCW Terrace North / Kovach / Link and Ribbon Creek. After this peasant warm-up on beautiful groomed trails, I went to ski Skogan pass access / Sunburst / High Level and Skogan Loop (CCW) to take advantage of yesterday's grooming.
Swix V05 Polar provided excellent grip but the glide was fair / good.
The trails are in pristine conditions and skiing was awesome.
At 3:30pm, it was -10C at the parking lot and snowing lightly.
5 stars grooming , too bad I ate the other 4 stars!
S turns on Ribbon creek, as good as it gets

I'm thinking that was you going up Sunburst, as I was descending at about 1:30?
Hummingbird Plume Lookout view.

Hi SteveR, Yes it was me as you were the only person I met. Going up I was admiring your turns on the corduroy, do you have metal edge to be able to turn so nicely.

Countless multitudes have admired Steve's turns!
He's been around since the dawn of telemark.

Thanks Aqua Toque, at least it kept me entertained while going up!

Yes, I used my metal edged light touring skis (68-55-62) with nnn-bc boots, in anticipation of laying down arcs on all that perfect corduroy. No telemarks though, Aqua- it was all parallel turns.
