Felt like heaven in -16 on Spray West/East this afternoon

Groomer was "refreshing" the tracks as we were heading out from West Spray. He did not visit the East side and we did not go beyond the "bus" shelter. The snow and tracks were better on Spray East and only saw less than ten people on that side. As Chuckley pointed out a while back, the river has encroached on the flat section of trail leading back to the crossover bridge at Old Quarry Loop so we walked the last bit, and while the trail down before we got to that section appeared very good for snow coverage, we all walked it down. Parks Staff were checking passes in the Spray West Parking Lot upon our return.
