Road Ride Canmore / Banff / Lake Minnewanka area

I see that there is some posting of non skiing activities now that the cross country season is pretty much done. I think that that is a good idea. Today I started out at the Travel Alberta centre in Canmore and rode out to Lake Minnewanka and then on to Mount Norquay and Vermillion Lakes. The loop to Lake Minnewanka and Two Jack is closed to vehicles (except parks and assorted workers) so that made for pleasant riding on that section. The closure is Monday through Thursday for this week and the two following weeks. There were lots of people out there enjoying a reasonable pleasant spring day. Check it out if you get a chance to get away during the week. I like the site Roger.
