3 die-hard, keen Meanderthals braved the -16 temps up at Minnewanka for a stunning Moonlight Ski. I give ALL the credit to Chuck O'Callaghan for introducing me to this perfect place to enjoy the full Moon. We started skiing at 4:30 and we warmed up climbing to the highpoint and open waters on Cascade. By the time we started up the track-setting to Bankhead, the amphitheatre of mountains full of snow under the moonlight was spectacular. Not a soul did we see. Brandy chocolates with tea were the treat at Upper Bankhead parking lot.
