Lots of animal sign along the way.
The good news (in terms of drought), is there is quite a bit of snow around still further afield in higher areas or shaded trails. Mostly just short patchy sections, making biking tricky, but doable on foot. The creek is flowing quite good as the melt continues. Further west, past the road closure, may prove to be more difficult travel when it opens Wednesday in all but sunny south ridges, at least on foot anyway. Skiing might be better than normal.
