MORAINE LAKE ROAD - Not "Good"

Discussion:

While the Parks Canada Trail Condition Report says that conditions here are "Good", they are NOT.
The outer tracks COLLAPSE under any weight, and even in the middle, poles break through the surface. This is probably due to the underlying rain crust which needed more heavy grooming before track setting.
Another quiet day, but we still managed to meet Skier Roger and Gord F. for the first time!

Easy parking for MLR, but boot tracks from the start

OMG Hikers want to take pictures of Moraine Lake!

At least they must have read the sign, and are not walking on the set ski track

Glad to have yesterday's grooming, but...

... the middle up track is the best choice for the descent.
