Discussion:
-10 this morning to start and an inch or two from overnight. Fresh grooming on mountain rd to the access point. Thanks to others for breaking trail yesterday up the access rd to the first gas pump and intersection with ridgeback 4 (2-3” of champagne in their track). Looked like they had fun descending the little hills. Once past the pump house, ankle to below boot top trail breaking (AT) over a solid crust. Some settlements (less crust) on the shady side of the ROW. Descending was a bit grabby feeling the crust on each turn (only 6-8” of fluff over the crust), better on more planer aspects at a mellower angle. Good zoom down the access rd. Should be pretty good sun/mon if this next wave of snow materializes into anything significant. Back along the horse trails paralleling mountain rd for a bit of extra fluff. A bit thin in spots on the east leg. -6 back in the parking lot at 2, and not a hint of sun all day, so soft powder everywhere tomorrow.
Snow snakes! Those look remarkably like Steve Riggs’ turns, but we know he was on skogan yesterday.
A good track on the access rd made for fast travel to the base of the ROW.
Lots of snow on the trees up high with little wind.

What pray tell is a "ROW"?
It's nowhere to be found on the acronym list.

IATBS, it was clearly evident. All turns are good, some are just better than others. And thanks again for the track.

IABTS, despite seeing the light about a decade ago, I still like to fire off occasional rusty tele turns on the xc skis!
