Discussion:
Was watching temps like a hawk and decided today to try skiing again (after 12 days of no skiing to rest my sore rt hip). Favourite Trails: Lower Telemark westward and back to Peyto Junction where we skied up fresh powder portion of Peyto to junction through the dog sled meadow, then back to Lower Telemark to enjoy those stunning "snow angels" meadows to complete our ski. A baby porcupine was spotted by a fellow skier, about 1 km east of top of big hill and was still sitting there apparently on his return. Temp -9 to start and 0 to finish. Warm blue worked for my Asnes and skins for my friends.
Total distance: 12.00 Km
Turn around point on Peyto....fun ski down in light powder
Time for Kathryn to get down to the icebreaker on the meadows
Hope Mt Fairview shows up above Dana's head.

Hi Helen: glad that you had a fun ski at Lake Louise. Judging from the weather network's extended forecast winter should return on March 20th with some new snow for at least a few days!!

Sore hip or no sore hip, just can't keep you off those trails. Good for you!
