WBC: off trail meandering

Discussion:

Took the horse trail to west meadow and middle Tom snows, wandering about off trail in treed meadows west of the old camp site towards mountainview west (somebody has pulled the fire ring out and tipped it over since last winter). Generally boot top trail breaking in the meadows (AT gear) unless on a melt freeze crust. No cougar or badger encounters, although something checked out one of my tea stop spots, bobcat or lynx maybe? It certainly seemed to be able to leap quite far.

Excellent travel off trail in semi-open areas.

I guessed those were your tracks wandering around. I also noticed some turns in the cutblocks along Mountain View. Very good off-trail travel conditions right now!

Wasn’t me in the cut block though. No appetite for uphill today, quite content just to wander around in the sun on wax.
