Arrived around 10:45 at Great Divide parking lot-first car in uncleared lot. -11.
Climbed up hill to Upper Tramline, then down to MLR, onto Fairview, shortcut to #4, crossed road over to Peyto, down to GD and home via Lower Telemark in blissful powder. Had been waiting all year for my two favourite trails #7 and #8 and unlike CheersCarol ski of only yesterday, hard to believe the difference with all the snow.

Should investigate those stables for a warmer lunch spot?
 The distance from bottom of Peyto to start of Lower Telemark always seems longer.....really, only 1.8 km?
 Couldn't talk Graham into joining us but he also prefers the west to east direction.
-8 heading home and drive back easier than drive there. Met two visitors from New Jersey and they sure wished they lived here. Tremendous conditions for this 52nd Annual Loppet of the Calgary Ski Club!
