Bankhead/Cascade DNF

Discussion:

I attempted to ski in the Bankhead / Cascade area today. I started with Bankhead all the way down to the road closure. After the groomed section to Upper Bankhead (2 km) the route is pretty rough with walker divots. I did see a wolf crossing the road (about 15 m away just north of Upper Bankhead) on my way back to the Cascade junction. If I would have been about a half minute earlier I would have seen 7 of them. There was couple at the top of little hill amazed at what they were seeing. As I caught up to them I saw the last of the pack entering the forest.

Cascade this has snow on it but it has not been recently groomed and it was pretty sticky. I gave up at the top of the hill and went to CNC where at least it was not sticky.
