CASCADE VALLEY - Snow Snow Snow

Discussion:

After being housebound yesterday due to rain, I was excited by last nights' snowfall.
Getting up the road from the highway was the first challenge, as it had not been plowed.
The Cascade Valley got 15 to 20 cms of snow, depending on elevation. There were slushy sections on the pavement lower down, which caused some clumping on the return as it warmed up, but otherwise the snow was light and fluffy providing excellent glide.
Nice to see all the locals like Carl & Rosie, Chris & Shannon, Tina and so many others I cannot name!
Hoping it will be groomed soon.

At first I wondered if I could handle breaking this trail alone

Well, we missed the powder, but have news for you: the Cascade and Bankhead trails were groomed today. It is a winter wonderland up there! Bit rough in the middle, but pleasant skiing :-)
