Great day for a Great Divide ski!

Discussion:

It felt like all of Alberta was at Great Divide today! Full parking lot at 11 AM and -2°. Great snow on the new double tracks, although the inbound track (where the sled dog track usually is) had sections with twigs sticking out. Our skins worked well, although we could have used just a tad more grip on the colder snow at the far end around the arch (I was wondering how my fishscales or wax skis would have fared in comparison). A fabulous day with dad…can’t imagine the crowds that will show up on the weekend!
