Discussion:

I received an email from Sandy Lecour, who happens to be visually impaired and is chairwoman of the Ski For Light Canada fundraising committee.

Ski for Light matches blind and visually impaired cross-country skiers with sighted guides at an annual event. This year it takes place from January 22nd to 28th in Kananaskis. The motto of the event is “If I can do this, I can do anything”.

A number of SFL members jumped on board to create the following winter music. Click on the links below and have a listen!

At the age of 60, Sandy took up the guitar and started song writing. She asked local adventurer, Diane Bischak if she had the time to add her lovely fiddle/violin to the tunes. Who better to play bass but Marshal K, the bass man about town who always gives a tune a groove and never says no. And of course, Sandy's guide, for 40 years, on and off the snow, John Groeneveld jazzed things up.
