Moraine Lake Road Multiuse Trail

Discussion:

We went up to the viewpoint on skinny skin skis. It was minus 4 to start. The track and snow were great on the way up. The trip back down was great in the tracks but when we had to move out of the tracks on the steep section 2km south of Paradise creek we had difficulty negotiating the hiking zone of the trail. The big divots had hardened and were giving our skinny skis a real challenge. It was plus 5 when we finished and it looks like the lower section of the trail will be glazed by tomorrow.
