My wife's recovering from a broken foot, so we headed to Bill Milne for somewhere flat. As reported in the grooming report, the trail is well groomed throughout, but only trackset south of the golf course parking area. The tracks are really hard and a mix of ice, hard surface, and slower snow. That tracksetting is also really hard, but still very usable.

The tracks seem bomb-proof, and the skiing was ok, but I've definitely had better in that area. Luckily we knew what we were getting into. Given what they have to work with, I think the groomers have done an amazing job. It gave me a chance to practice skiing without poles. Apparently I'm not as stable as I'd like to be...

Bill Milne, just north of the Hwy 40 crossing. Pretty typical for the trail.
