Slippy and grippy at Ribbon Creek

Discussion:

Today was a great day to ski at Ribbon Creek after the 10+cm new snow and tracksetting. We climbed Terrace to the village and completed the loop following the Kovach Trail. Tracks were slippy in places where the grooming exposed ice underneath; glide was slow on the cold new snow. After we crossed the bridge over Ribbon Creek the temperature dropped a few degrees. Several skiers were cautiously coming down the big hill that we were climbing up. The new snow cover was already getting scraped off on the corners.
Great tracksetting! Lets hope for more snow again!
