Discussion:

With live grooming showing that Moraine and Fox Ck. had been groomed Tuesday night, Judy decided to join me for a ski at PLPP. The groomer has done an amazing job at restoring these trails given what they had to work with. Still quite a bit of tree debris under the big trees on Fox Ck. (almost crashed once due to ski grabbing) but tracks are amazingly good.

From Boulton, skied a loop via Packers - Tyrwhitt - Patterson - Fox Ck. Excellent tracks everywhere with a centimetre of freshish snow on Patterson and Elk Pass but surprisingly only a dusting elsewhere. Only encountered 2 groups on Tyrwhitt and a few more groups on Fox Ck. and Moraine.

-4 C at 11:30, -2 at 2:30 at Boulton. V45 was a bit slippy so probably should have rewaxed with V50 for the reworked snow. Judy's skin skis worked well.

At the start of Tyrwhitt, I encountered a strange sight: a skier with another pair of skis on his pack and, 50 m later, a guy jogging down the trail in ski boots! So surprised, I didn't have a chance to stop and talk to them. The boot tracks continued for quite some distance.

Total distance: 21.00 Km
