Discussion:

I skied most of the Bragg Creek Trails network today (except Telephone, but including Hostel) and the south side of Moose. The core area had been freshly groomed, even out as far as East Mountain View and today Even West Mountain View from the end of Mountain Road over the col and down the other side to just below the steep hill. That was quite a treat. Freshly groomed terrain is in really good shape. As was the case in my earlier reports, even trails groomed several days ago are decent. Hostel was refreshed a couple of days ago (after not being done for quite some time). The groomer's suggestion that it be skied counterclockwise is a good one as the descent is less curvy so in way better shape. Remarkably, the north loop of Iron Springs / Elbow is still totally skiable. The only questionably descent is the one from the top of Elbow heading north towards Sundog. Despite not being groomed for more than a week now, it is in better shape than Hostel. Otherwise the downhills are still fine (but fairly fast).
