Hummingbird plume (from ribbon Ck)

Discussion:

As bob mentioned, the icy chunky snow grooming entering nakiska is awkward skiing, even on LT gear, but it is short. As to the jump-landing zone above the access route, don’t recall seeing it in that location in previous years. A bad spot for such a feature. Doesn’t look like that run is being used so far. Hard to see skiers approaching above the jump too. An abundance of caution will be required when it does get going.

Hummingbird was nice skiing with “fresh” from the winds blowing snow off the trees. A bit rough descending in places with all the herringbone tracks and the light snow bombs (I was descending too early, before it got smoothed by snow plowing action). Lots of people out enjoying the fresh grooming. Ribbon creek main lot was full on return at 1.
